“Where Small Voices Can Be Heard”

Serving Child Abuse Victims in Cache and Rich Counties.

The Children’s Justice Center is a home-like facility that serves children and families who are experiencing the crisis and chaos that comes with the disclosure of physical or sexual abuse of a child.

The Center is designed to help children feel safe and comfortable so that they may begin to deal with the difficult and often frightening issues that surround abuse. The focus and function of the Children’s Justice Center is to reduce the trauma of the child abuse investigation, provide medical services, and help the child feel safe to reveal the truth.

The CJC Mission and Model illustrates how we collaborate with agencies to minimize the emotional toll on child victims and provide for an efficient and effective investigative process.

It Takes a Village

The only way that the Cache Children’s Justice Center can help children in need is through caring actions of everyone in our community. The more you know and understand, the more you can help.

In Utah, 6,200 cases are handled annually and 15,000 people are served annually. Right here in Cache Valley, 266 children were interviewed at the Cache CJC in 2021. So far this year, the Cache CJC has interviewed over 60 children.

The only way that these children received the help they did was by their situation being brought to light. Help us help them by learning the signs of abuse and how to report it. One section of this website has been developed to help educate members of the community so that we can all look out for and help our precious little ones.

The Friends of the Cache Children’s Justice Center would like to thank Green Gorilla Express Car Wash for sponsoring this year’s Cache Children Justice Center Facebook Like-A-Thon (April and May 2022).
